The Assistant Dean of UCLA Anderson MBA Admissions & Financial Aid, Mae Jennifer Shores, and her staff made some exciting phone calls this week to newly admitted candidates. Rich Lyons, the Dean of the Haas School of Business, welcomed Stephanie DiMarco, the CEO of Advent, to campus to discuss leadership. Chicago Booth posted some positive news about hiring rates for MBA graduates. Meanwhile, Stanford GSB reminded their faithful applicant followers that the Round 3 deadline is coming up next week. Following the successful admissions event, The Economist’s MBA Circle, MIT / Sloan plugged a student’s experience with the Clean Energy Study tour. The Yale School of Management hosted several events this week, including the Yale SOM Leaders Forum, which featured guest speaker Alex Counts, President and CEO of the Grameen Foundation..
